Meraki Talent is partnered with a reputable investment company based in London to appoint a Junior Auditor to their already established Internal Audit team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering an annual salary of £35,000 plus excellent benefits (including access to a private medical scheme and permanent health insurance.)

The purpose of the Junior Auditor is to:
  • Create and implement comprehensive audit plans
  • Conduct audits across diverse risk domains and departments, including both first-line and second-line control functions
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide critical insights to senior management on risks, controls, and key processes when deficiencies are identified.
  • Collaborate with audit stakeholders to track and resolve audit issues, ensuring timely remediation.
  • Apply audit methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control environment and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain thorough and well-organized documentation to support the audit work conducted.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have:
Qualifications
  • A degree in a related subject (accounting, business)
  • Knowledge of UK regulations
  • At least 2 years in banking or financial services
  • An accounting qualification - ACCA, IIA, CIA, ICAEW is desirable
Experience in:
  • Creating and executing audit plans
  • Performing audits across departments
  • Identifying areas of improvement
  • Preparing audit reports
  • Supporting with quarterly board reporting
