What you'll do:
As an Assistant Controller Finance, your role will be pivotal in supporting the finance team's operations. You will be responsible for supervising books of accounts and audits of multiple group entities while also managing banking, budgets, MIS, and internal controls. Your ability to support the firm's portfolio companies in areas of finance, compliance, and other matters will be crucial. You will also manage all management fee calculations and water fall allocations while liaising with various teams within the firm. Your role will also involve monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivables while ensuring adherence to policy, procedures, and governance frameworks. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to participate in finance department/company projects and initiatives.
* Supervise books of accounts and audits (with Big4 auditors) of multiple group entities.
* Manage banking, budgets, MIS, and internal controls.
* Support the firm's portfolio companies in areas of finance, compliance, and other matters as required.
* Manage all management fee calculations, and water fall allocations.
* Liaise with investments team, legal team, compliance team and portfolio companies.
* Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivables.
* Establish and ensure adherence to policy, procedures, and governance frameworks.
* Participate in finance department/company projects and initiatives.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Controller Finance role is a Chartered Accountant with at least 12-15 years of relevant work experience. You possess excellent written and communication skills which enable you to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the firm. Your ability to build rapport quickly allows you to develop positive relationships both internally and externally. You demonstrate an ability to adapt to changing priorities, resource constraints and key deadlines. You value prioritization and commitment while showing resilience in challenging situations. Lastly, you have strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills which will be crucial in this role.
* Chartered Accountant with at least 12-15 years of relevant work experience.

* Self-starter with ability to engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the firm.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and develop positive relationships internally and externally.
