We’re excited to share with our members that we are looking for a talented and strategic Chief Executive to lead CFA UK in helping investment professionals to build their capabilities, connections and careers and to continue to grow the Society’s impact, influence and engagement under our brand promise ‘We Grow Talent’.
The Person
CFA UK’s values are collaborative, pioneering, respectful, adaptable and purposeful. The new CEO will uphold, role model and promote those values.
The new CEO will be an experienced senior leader and outstanding communicator with extensive relationship management skills and well-networked across the investment sector. They’ll be well-positioned to identify strategic opportunities and challenges, balancing an entrepreneurial instinct with an appreciation of good risk management processes.
Leveraging enhanced technological resources and improved processes, the new CEO will work with the Board and senior leadership team to set the strategic direction of the organisation in efforts to attract more investment professionals, across more firms, helping them to develop and sustain the technical and professional competencies they need to serve their clients.
Essential
- Experience working with a Board as a Chief Executive or member of a senior leadership team.
- Experience of strategic planning, organisational growth, implementation and organisational design
- Effective and highly skilled communicator with a demonstrable passion for building relationships, relationship management and networking both internally and externally.
- Deep knowledge of the UK investment sector
Desirable
- Be a CFA Charterholder (or equivalent)
- An awareness and understanding of educational qualifications development and management.
- An interest in and knowledge of sustainable investment
- Experience in delivering multi-year technological change programmes as part of organisational transformation.
