Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

About the role
As a Senior Accountant you will:
- Supervise and coach, and delegate work to juniors in your team
- Coordinate with your team leader on the various phases of an engagement
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs
- Prepare and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives
- Assist Manager & Partner with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection engagements
About you
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Commerce, and either studying or have completed CA or CPA
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in an Australian Chartered or CPA accounting firm
- Exposure to large business structures, and complex and diverse engagements
- Good understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, FBT and self-managed superannuation funds
- Experience in supervising and delegating work to junior staff
