How will I help?
This role is part of the Finance Services team that will be supporting a change portfolio with a Business Division. Working with a group of professionals this role is accountable for delivering strong financial control through the adherence to policies, processes, and standards; provide financial insights and advice to help our business leaders achieve target outcomes; and build and maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders.
The Finance Services team provides financial control and business partnering support to the Divisions. It also provides finance, tax, and finance system operation services for the Group. You will support the Senior Project Finance Manager to provide business partnering, financial support, advice, and solutions to key stakeholders for the portfolio that you are responsible for.

You will support the Senior Project Finance Manager to provide business partnering, financial support, advice, and solutions to key stakeholders for the portfolio that you are responsible for.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective business analysis and advice to the portfolio and programs and other stakeholders in line with the Finance Control Framework.
- Provide commercial insights through analytical review of data and business drivers and performance.
- Lead month end project accounting processes in a timely manner ensuring adherence to accounting standards and finance policies.
- Monitor the Project/Program business case including project spend, ongoing operating expense and benefits timeline investment governance and assumptions.
- Actively challenge underlying business assumptions in financial forecasts and ensure lead indicators are owned and tracked by the Programs. Identifying any risks/issues and opportunities to the financial forecast and plan
- Assist with the development of Investment return and financial tracking metrics.
- Assist in the development, validation, and critique of the Project Investment Business Case. Support the set-up of new projects to ensure project financials can be accurately measured across end-to-end capability/scope.
- Understand linkage of commercial (e.g., Statement of Works and invoices) to the project spend forecast.
- Maintain effective working relationship with other finance counterparts, Project/Program Managers, IT and PMO, and other stakeholders.
- Supports an achievement culture in servicing finance and business clients through expert advice and planning.

What do I need?
- Previous experience in financial management and the financial services industry
- Professional accounting qualification completed - ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of all technical finance & accounting competencies
- Qualifications in commerce or business-related discipline
- Project execution (including Agile) and Technology experience an advantage.
- Trusted advisor with business acumen and knowledge
