Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be working within a small team and collaborating closely with external accountants. Your main responsibility will be to maintain accurate accounting records and ensure the accounting system operates efficiently. You will be responsible for analysing budget variances, cashflow forecast, P&L reporting, intercompany invoicing and general day to day accounting duties. You will also have the flexibility to implement some processes and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new role you will have:Proficiency in Xero and the ability to leverage it for business efficiencies. Capability to work independently and maintain routine accounting tasks in a timely manner. Advanced skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent written and oral communication skills for stakeholder interactions. Ability to fit into a small, collaborative team environment. What you'll get in return
