Actuarial Analyst, PIA
Prudential International Assurance, part of the M&G group is looking for an actuary to work in a dynamic and fast paced proposition team.
The proposition team main responsibilities are to:
The team currently has a vacancy for an actuarial analyst. This role will be involved in supporting the various developments which the team are involved with, for example providing solutions to allow developments to reach the market in a timely fashion, provide solutions to meet our regulatory obligations to our customers or performing product reviews and other product oversight activities. The focus of the role also includes taking accountability for some of the more standard processes or delivering work on a more complex process.

- Develop propositions ensuring that they meet the needs of the customer, provide value for money, whilst achieving the commercial ambitions of Prudential International Assurance
- Ensure current propositions (open and closed) continue to meet the needs of our customer and provide value or money and
- To ensure all product related regulatory change is executed in accordance with the regulations and within regulatory timelines
The team currently has a vacancy for an actuarial analyst. This role will be involved in supporting the various developments which the team are involved with, for example providing solutions to allow developments to reach the market in a timely fashion, provide solutions to meet our regulatory obligations to our customers or performing product reviews and other product oversight activities. The focus of the role also includes taking accountability for some of the more standard processes or delivering work on a more complex process.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- The delivery of a range of technical tasks such as basis recommendations, pricing of new propositions and bonus setting
- Specifying technical calculations for example for Illustrations, PRIIPS documentation, or tax calculations
- Undertake Product Governance including Customer Outcomes activities, and produce the resultant reports
- Review product literature and relevant outbound communications
- Support the team on a range of cross functional projects
- Support outsource partners with adviser and customer queries and complaints to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution
- Produce regular and adhoc MI to assist the management of the business

- Started your studies towards an Actuarial qualification
- Some knowledge of life products, including Investment Bonds
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to problem solve
- A self starter
- Passion for the customer
- Effective written, spoken and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team player
- Self-motivated with an ability to actively manage your time, multiple tasks and meet deadlines
