Our client is an international company active in the renewable energies sector.The company is structured by different BU. One of them is the International Development BU, who's acting as incubator of new countries in the group.To support the development of this BU, we are looking for a Finance Coordinator.The position is based in Brussels.

Job Description
Finance Coordinator - Renewable energies - Brussels

As the Finance Coordinator for the International Development BU, you act as Regional Finance Manager and report directly to the group CFO. In this role, you manage a team of 6 people (directly & indirectly).Your main tasks consist in :

• Supervising and coordinating the local Finance teams (+/- 5 countries with one financial responsible per country)
• Guaranteeing the accuracy and compliance of local financial reports (in local gaaps), ensuring proper consolidation and management reporting
• Implementing and maintaining effective processes and tools to deliver accurate financial information
• Overseeing the forecasting and budgeting process and ensuring smooth collaboration between central and local finance teams
• Fostering a strong focus on cash management by working with the Treasury Department to create cash forecasting templates and guidelines
• Supporting local finance teams in executing finance and transformation projects, collaborating with project managers and IT specialists.

In addition to that, you are also involved in the integration of new countries:

• Coordinating the establishment of financial and administrative structures in new countries, working with internal and external stakeholders
• Handling relationships with banks for project funding and overseeing legal compliance, including corporate secretarial tasks and contract reviews
• Developing and managing finance teams (accounting, controlling, treasury) and providing financial insights to aid management decisions.

The Successful Applicant
Finance Coordinator - Renewable energies - BrusselsThe ideal candidate will meet the following criteria :

• Master's degree in Finance / Business Administration
• 8 years of financial experience (audit / controlling / accounting / finance management)
• Good understanding of the Belgian accounting standards & tax (BE GAAP)
• People management or coordination experience
• Fluency in French & English
• Strong communication skills
• Capacity to have a global view while remaining operational
• Willing to evolve in a fast-growing environment.
