Responsibilities will include:
• With minimal guidance, completes day-to-day tax activities in accordance with tax guidelines, including preparing and maintaining tax records, returns, and reports.
Performs reviews to ensure tax filing compliance with the organization's policies and IRS regulations on information reporting and withholding.
• Summarizes findings and collaborates with senior staff and the business units in developing plans for remediating tax reporting and filing deficiencies and oversees the remediation status/progress.
• Partners with senior tax analysts and managers to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and manage business performance.
• Acts as the liaison between reporting vendors and lines of businesses and ensures those businesses are reporting proper tax information.
• Provides less experienced staff with direction and training
You will have at least 2 - 5 years relevant work experience within a Financial Services environment
You will be responsible for the accuracy and completion of own work.
