About the Role

This role will contribute to the effective production and delivery of audit data, management information (MI) and reporting for the Quilter Internal Audit team, to help the Board, Executive Management and the Audit and Risk Committees protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the organisation.
The role does this by:
You will have some liaison with the application vendors as well as Quilter Technology, to ensure the application continues to meet the needs of GIA and our stakeholders.
You will also develop and maintain a suite of reporting solutions for the Internal Audit team. This will involve identifying reporting requirements, key data sources and testing and implementing high-quality outputs using PowerBI or similar visualisation and reporting software, utilising APIs (and similar) to enable GIA reporting.
You will engage with, and develop Internal Audit's relationship with, key stakeholders to support and resolve queries in relation to reporting and adapt output as appropriate.
You will analyse data and produce Management Information (MI) to support decision making and drive continuous improvement across the function and perform ongoing analysis of the accuracy, consistency, relevance, and integrity of Audit data.
Additionally, you will contribute to the effective delivery of audits by supporting others performing, or by performing audit testing that makes use of data analytics techniques.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to department initiatives, including supporting in GIA's continuous improvement programme, considering innovative approaches including for example applying data analytics and agile auditing principles.
While GIA leverage digital tools to communicate with colleagues across our various office locations, there may be a small and limited amount of flexible travel required.

To succeed in this role, you will have strong data management skills, a good working knowledge of PowerBI and alternative data analytics tools, for example IDEA.
You will have experience and understanding of data analytic and visualisation techniques and knowledge or experience of building reports, including the configuration of APIs. Some level of application administration or configuration experience would also be ideal.
You will be comfortable questioning convention and staying curious, persevering to get the right outcomes and using your expertise to deliver effective and efficient reporting, MI and data solutions.
