This is a great opportunity for a Corporation Tax Specialist to join a Top 10 firm in a Director level role. The company has been steadily expanding their business tax function over the past few years and are continuing to invest and grow, which in turn is creating great opportunities for their employees. This role would suit a candidate with more of an all-round / generalist experience in Corporation Tax as you will be involved in technical advisory work as well as the oversight of tax compliance and audit work. Clients are typically in the mid-cap market, with various multinational accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for a group of clients, providing suitable strategic and technical advice and guidance to clients with regard to their corporation tax affairs.
  • Leading and managing the relationship with clients, with the aim of developing new business from your existing current client base.
  • Evaluating the client's situation and tailoring your advice according to their specific needs providing clear and technically accurate documentation and key transaction documents.
  • Responsibility for managing, mentoring and developing more junior members of the team.
  • Ensuring excellent client service whilst minimising conduct risk.
  • Potential to carve out or take ownership of a technical or sector specialism within the framework of wider business tax team.

You will need to ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with a minimum of 8 years' experience working in Corporation Tax within another professional services organisation or boutique advisory firm. You will need to have a proven track record of client delivery and customer service as well as a strong, and generalist, experience across UK corporation tax. You will need the confidence and communication skills to manage a portfolio of clients, harnassing those relationships to create new business opportunities and revenue streams.
