Job Description
As part of the Financial Team, you will be responsible for end to end processes, driving the business and supporting the different business leaders in the decision making processes.
As Business Controller your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the monthly financial close process, analyzing results and variances, discussing findings with stakeholders, and proposing corrective actions to enhance financial performance.
- Ensure operational and capital expenditures (Opex & Capex) are effectively managed.
- Prepare, monitor, and update budgets, financial forecasts, and multi-year plans.
- Generate detailed financial reports and performance analyses for management and key stakeholders.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the business.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the quality of financial and performance data.
- Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and contribute to strategic projects.
The Successful Applicant
The Business Controller gathers a certain set of hard and soft skills / experiences.
This role is ideal for someone looking to make an impact through data-driven financial insights and process optimization, while contributing to a company's strategic growth.
- University degree in Business Engineering, Management, Economics, or related field.
- Min 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools in the Office suite, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and dynamic approach.
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented but also able to work autonomously.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
