Finance Manager

high-end e-commerce jewellery business as a Finance Manager, playing a crucial role in managing financial operations while working fully remotely from the UK

As the standalone Finance Manager, you will take charge of the following key functions, either on a full or part-time basis:

Oversee all financial activities on Xero, including the reconciliation of bank accounts, Shopify transactions, credit cards, and foreign exchange accounts, along with bookkeeping duties.
Manage all month-end processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Produce monthly management accounts and deliver PowerPoint presentations to shareholders, highlighting key data and business insights.
Conduct thorough balance sheet analysis.
Provide oversight for all business-as-usual (BAU) activities, such as accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
Establish a payroll system, currently outsourced to a third party.
Prepare for year-end financial processes and reporting.
Identify relevant finance projects, focusing on process improvements and enhancing internal controls as the business grows.
Strive for excellence within the Finance function and serve as a trusted advisor to the Owners.

CIMA/ACCA qualified with substantial experience in finance management.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Proficient in Xero and Shopify, with a solid understanding of cloud-based accounting programs.
Experienced in working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Knowledgeable in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and V-lookups.
Self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality work.
Possess a friendly and personable nature, fostering strong relationships within the team.
