Position: Team Lead (Operations)

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Tenure: Fixed-term contract

Working mode: Hybrid, currently still work from home

Job Expectations:

• Technical know-how - Ability to quickly understand technical and conceptual nuances of Online Maps and tools
• Managing and overseeing the activity of the team of 15 - 20 Maps editing Specialists.
• TL will be leading multiple short to long term pilot projects within online maps space
• Liaison with GIS Analyst to understand the problem statement and run pilot projects with the team
• Present structured analysis to GIS analyst lead and client program manager
• Strong problem-solving skills & attention to details a must
• Comfortable dealing with rapidly-evolving work environment
• Strict adherence to deadlines
• Work and Train the new hires within defined timelines
• Maintain productivity and quality trackers
• Managing attendance, forecasts, team level reporting activities
• Willing to work in a shift based work schedule
• Managing both internal (quality, training and corporate teams) and external (client) stakeholders.

Skills Required:

• Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline
• 6+ years. of work experience working across multiple online maps related processes for instance basemap editing, POI etc.
• Ability to maintain and analyze large data sets efficiently
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and logical reasoning abilities
• Knowledge of working on MS Excel / Spreadsheets in areas like vlookup, pivot table, charts etc
• Minimum 3 years working experience as Team Lead, preferable in BPO industry

• Basic knowledge of SQL language & data mining is a value add
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Analytical with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise mature judgment and structured decision-making.
• Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.
