Summary of the Job：

• Handling IFRS monthly/quarterly closing as well as JGAAP local closing.
• Support Credit Control task supervising subordinates including EWB.
• Supervise accounting transactions prepared by subordinates.
• Review tax return data prepared by subordinates.

Key responsibilities of the job:

• Accounting Activities: Complete accounting entries independently. Apply professional knowledge for accounting entries to OPUS and SAP for monthly closing as well as local GAAP annual closing.
• Project Work: Contribute for efficiency improvement by improving E2E accounting work flow. Contribute for quality improvement for EWB for Credit Control activities.
• Communication and Relations Management: Actively build relationship with other departments locally, regional/global counterparts, as well as independent auditors to smoothen accounting operation.
• Global Standards & Governance: Aligning and collaboration with other CxO Governance functions in OE to remain apprised of project status, and ensure alignment of design decisions.
• Best practice sharing: Participate/facilitate development of cross-domain solutions that combine knowledge of accounting processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.
• Responsible for General Accounting Matter: To be in charge for broad range of accounting and tax maters applying professional skills and knowledge.

Key Experience / Requirements / Skills：

• Knowledge for Insurance law & regulation and to cope with the regulator

• Accounting experience in non-life insurance company
• Basic knowledge for income tax return preparation
• Familiar to GL system, Windows, Teams, Office application, etc.
• Japanese - fluent
• English - business level

• University degree in Economics, Commerce or Business, etc.
• CPA / Certificate of bookkeeping (1st grade) desirable
