Job Description

• Developing and implementing cost standards for materials and labour.
• Designing and implementing cost accounting systems.
• Analysing production costs and recommending changes.
• Preparing cost forecasts for new projects.
• Collaborating with department heads to formulate strategic plans.
• Providing management with cost analysis, fiscal allocation and financial reports.
• Conducting audits of costs and preparing reports.
• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Cost Controller should have:

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial management principles.
• Experience with accounting software (Navision) and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with the construction industry its a big plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good language skills in french, english, and dutch.
