Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares Deal Screen Summary. Reviews financial and collateral information and prepares a summary of the Company with anticipated structure of the Asset based Loan. Identifies strengths and risks in support of a recommendation of action.
- Prepares Credit Approval Memorandum. Combines analysis of the company, collateral and financial information with third party due diligence to prepare a deal summary for Senior Management and final approval including risk/mitigants and recommendation.
- Manages loan documentation, closing and fundings of new transactions. Works with attorneys to set parameters within the loan agreement that match the approved COM. Works with Operations to close the loans and set up accounts in nCino.
- Meets with prospective clients by phone or in-person to ask questions regarding financial performance, industry analysis, collateral and working capital cycles.
- Reviews financial and collateral information. Performs initial analysis to determine if the Bank should proceed to a deal screen memo. Analysis includes review of borrowing base, A/R aging, Inventory reports, historical and projected financials.
- Engages field examiner and appraisers; provides guidance for scope of exam and reviews reports. Upon initial review of collateral, identifies potential issues in collateral and analyzes final reports to properly set advance rates and ineligible collateral.
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, economics, or related field. Required
- Minimum experience required: 6+ Years in credit analysis at a bank or finance company. Required
- 4 years of specific Asset Based Lending experience. Required
- Experience using Moody's Risk Analyst Spread System or similar spreading tools .Required
- Experience in Financial / Credit Analysis. Required
- Credit training or field examiner experience preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of financial spreading
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel and Word.
- Excellent knowledge of credit analysis and collateral analysis.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial and collateral trends
- Strong work ethic
- Physical demands (ADA): The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
