Who is the Carrier Governance Team?

The Carrier Governance Team assesses and manages the internal Carrier/Broker components to mitigate risk by ensuring the validity and accuracy of the information we receive and maintain available for Hub.

About the position:

The Carrier Governance Service Analyst is responsible for review, analysis, and action on changes and additions to our Broker Management Systems and Insurance Company information storage tools. They are experienced in building relationships and capturing an in-depth understanding of the strengths needed to support the accounting teams, regional finance, and servicing staff.

Carrier Governance Service Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Maintain sustainable carrier relationships that allow Hub to stay informed of updates and changes
  • Respond and resolve accounting inquiries communicated directly from carriers
  • Store and upkeep carrier information such as addresses, payment instructions, login portals, invoice/statement distribution, and any additional accounting related details
  • Work in concert with corporate strategies and technical teams to ensure our Broker Management Systems are accurate
  • Monitor and safeguard carrier security administrator access
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Carrier Governance Service Analyst Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, banking, and finance fields
  • A well-established understanding of accounting, financial concepts, and controls
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently through various channels
  • Experience in providing exceptional service and resolutions

Preferred
  • 3 years of accounting shared service experience including customer solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and deliver successful results
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel
  • Superior communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation
  • Knowledge of Broker Management Systems and IT ticketing system requirements
  • Insurance Accounting/Servicing background
