About the role

As a Junior Risk Analyst, you will gain first-hand knowledge and exposure to the inner workings of financial markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and refine your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Your numerical and analytical skills will be crucial in assessing and managing financial risks, contributing to the success and stability of our operations.

Responsibility

Foreign Exchange Trading Management
  • Coordinate and manage the foreign exchange trading portfolio across all currencies.
  • Monitor and assess market movements, staying up-to-date with market news and sudden events that may impact the portfolio.

Risk Management
  • Manage risk through positioning and trading within approved limits, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with foreign exchange trading.

Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare daily reports for stakeholders, providing insights and updates on portfolio performance.
  • Execute analytical procedures on related business areas upon request, offering data-driven recommendations and insights.

Continuous Improvement
  • Explore and implement new ways to improve existing procedures continuously.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Previous trading experience or market exposure is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required.
  • A keen interest in financial markets.
