The AVP, Senior Accountant position provides accounting, professional and management support of the general financial accounting activities for Bank in compliance with Bank and regulatory policies. This position will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and reliable financial operations, data and reporting, as well as supporting the Controller with reoccurring and ad hoc requests.

Work Schedule: two days remote, three days on site
Salary ranges: $85,000 - $95,000
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs board and regulatory reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Responsible for investment portfolio accounting software system, investment record keeping and tracking.
- Complete monthly reconciliations between investment systems, general ledger and custodians and resolve issues, as needed.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account analyses in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including bank and investment accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, depreciation, fixed assets, and others; prepare journal entries and analyze accounts for irregularities.
- Recommend updates and/or revisions to policies and procedures based on the changing environment.
- Provide support and back up to other accounting functions
- Positive contribution in a team environment.
Education & Experience:
- B.S. degree, preferably in in accounting
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services
