Job Description: Analyst/Associate - Private Investment
Position: Investment Analyst

Job Summary:
The Private Investment Analyst will conduct in-depth research, analysis, and due diligence on private
market investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background from a
good college and 3-5 years of experience in private market investments. The candidate must stay abreast
of current industry trends and demonstrate the ability to apply this knowledge to identify and evaluate
investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct thorough research and analysis of private market investment opportunities, including
startups and established private companies.
● Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research,
competitive landscape assessment, and risk evaluation.
● Develop financial models to support investment decisions and valuations.
● Prepare comprehensive investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
● Monitor and track the performance of existing portfolio companies, providing regular updates and
insights to the team.
● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, portfolio
companies, and industry experts.
● Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and market developments to
identify new investment opportunities.
● Support the development and execution of investment strategies and plans.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
● 3-5 years of experience in private market investments, venture capital, private equity, or
Investment banking fields.
● Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
● Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
● Current knowledge of technology trends and their impact on private market investments.
● Strong work ethic, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
