Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the review processes on the Risk & Control Self Assessment ("RCSA"), Audit, Regulatory, SOX Reviews, Incidents etc. as assigned by Head of Ops L1B, to ensure the audit, regulatory and business findings are fairly justified and properly documented during the review, where the remediation/actions are well managed for closure.
- Design and Conduct Quality Assurance ("QA") Programs across the customer and health operation functions to ensure the regulatory requirements & company standards are met. At the same time to conduct trainings to Ops L1A teams to achieve service excellence with managed risk exposure.
- Oversee and monitor the Key Risk Indicators ("KRIs") assigned by Head of Ops L1B and maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of the Operation processes, including but not limited to liaising with Operations L1A and L2 Risk, L3 Audit and Regional stakeholders, reviewing the Internal Control Review exercises, identifying and mitigating the ops compliance risks arising from the new business initiatives, evolving the regulatory engagement policy and training in dealing with governmental and regulatory bodies in order to maintain effective relationships to help foster mutual trust, respect and understanding.
- Prepare the Local and Group Reporting exercise to ensure the reporting are accurately, timely and completely documented, where good justifications/explanations can be provided on the reported items.
- Participate and share advice on the key projects as assigned by Head of Ops L1B from risk and compliance perspectives to ensure the Compliance and Legal requirements are well interpreted, considered, and executed during the project management process, so that the projects could be rolled out seamlessly and timely with proper governance per ERM frameworks and policies.
Job Requirements:
- University graduate, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Operational Risk, or a related discipline
- 15 years internal/external auditing, risk and control management, compliance, quality assurance, or consulting experience, preferably gained from insurance or financial institutions
- Recognized professional accounting/auditing/risk management is preferred (e.g. CPA, CISA, FRM etc.)
- Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken) including Putonghua
- Proficient in using Microsoft applications, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Proven project management skills and strong analytical skills
