Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership:

Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and the executive management team.
Lead long-term financial planning and budgeting processes.

Financial Management and Reporting:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage financial forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.

Operational Efficiency:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems.
Ensure the efficient management of financial resources, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and capital allocation.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial management software and systems.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Provide guidance and support for professional development and career progression within the finance department.
Ensure the finance team is adequately resourced and structured to meet business needs.

Stakeholder Management:

Liaise with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, regulatory bodies, and other external partners.
Present financial results and strategic financial plans to the board of directors and executive management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate financial decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in financial management within a large-scale entity, preferably with a focus on Hong Kong markets.
Strong strategic thinking and financial planning skills.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in Hong Kong.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency with financial management software and ERP systems.
