Your job
The Data sourcing teams support the stakeholders in Finance and Risk with the implementation of the current and future data sourcing. As Business Lead Data Sourcing you are responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Finance & Risk data sourcing.
Your focus is on representing the interests of the bank, supervisors and other key stakeholders within the applicable processes and procedures, external legislation & regulations and internal policies in the field of (Finance & Risk) Data.
Next to your contextual tasks and responsibilities, you provide direct leadership to 5 to 10 employees (Product Owners and Business Developers) and indirect leadership to 50+ employees. In this role it is important that you can make decisions based on strategic banking interests without losing sight of the daily deliverables (day-to-day decision making).
Working environment
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 300+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring Finance & Risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable data on time for internal decision making and external reporting. We do this by improving the Finance & Risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance & Risk Data Domain consists of 6 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
You are part of the Finance & Risk Data Domain Management Team. Together with the Finance & Risk Data Domain you represent interests internally (MT, Finance/Risk, CIO, CDO, Detecting Financial Crime, DIAL (central data layer of the bank), Business MT's, etc.) and externally (regulators).
Your profile
You are experienced in leading a team and show great leadership skills. You have an interest and experience in Data sourcing (aligning with all departments and entities of the bank related to source data for Finance and Risk use and alignment with the data needs to the rest of the bank). You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for detail. You are able to execute assignments independently as well as interact directly with stakeholders when it comes to day-to-day matters.

• You've successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (WO/Msc.)
• 10+ years of relevant work experience, of which preferably 5+ years in a managerial role.
• You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management.
• You have great people management skills.
• Proactive nature and attitude to identify better solutions and to implement them.
• You have knowledge of Finance & Risk Data, Finance and Risk reporting, modelling and/or calculations (e.g. RWA, Provisions)
• You have experience with Agile and Program management ways of working.
• You have worked in and/or with Scrum/DevOps teams.
• You have affinity with Finance and Risk Management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
