General Description
The incumbent will be responsible for the post-execution support of new and existing Equities and rates derivative products, ensuring timely and accurate capture of trades into Bank of Singapore core banking risk system. This is also a control function role requiring the incumbent to work closely with Front Office, Trading Desks and Technology in managing the bank's risk relating to the supported product classes. These combined, the incumbent should be able to lead the team, contribute significantly in a team setting, apply critical thinking to problem solving and excel under stressful conditions.

General Description

Responsibilities
- The incumbent is responsible for structuring projects, planning programmes and implementing strategy
- Operates with limited direction from senior management to recommend policies and procedures and manage escalation arising day-to-day support activites
- Works with more senior team members on complex transactions/projects
- Has authority to make certain business decisions but not in respect of strategic direction
- Ensures that the team resources is at the optimal level and meets budget targets
- Understands business requirement and supports growth with scalable strategies
- Strong awareness of the operational risks and is able to implement sound controls to prevent risk incidents
- Has overall supervision/management of a team depending on department structure; manages the team by inspiring them in daily deliveries and leading them through changes
- Manages relationship with internal or external stakeholders, or manages systems/process initiatives within or across departments if the role has no people-management responsibility
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years experience in Private Bank Operations, especially in the area of Equities Settlements or Equity Derivatives role.
- Clear written & verbal communication skills with all stakeholders, including Dealers, Front Office, and other support divisions
- Ability to work and deliver effectively under time pressure
- Working knowledge on industry platforms like Temenos or Triresolve preferred
- Knowledge on MAS/HKTR derivatives reporting preferred
