The Role
We are seeking an Associate to join our Debt Investments team, focusing on Risk Monitoring & Valuation (RMV). This role supports the RMV functions and involves working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective asset monitoring and management.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse and review investments/transactions across project finance, structured credit, diversified corporates, and special situations assets.
- Manage multiple workstreams in a work-out, including financial modelling, legal, and credit analysis.
- Use of coding techniques & software such as Python, MS Access and/or SQL to maintain and update databases with management information
- Build/modify and maintain financial models
- Contribute to the preparation and presentation of Credit Papers for the purpose of investment/amendments/restructurings recommendations
- Assist in the training and development of junior members across the team
- Lead / execute asset management initiatives across the portfolios
Your Background and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in finance sub-investment grade Corporate and/or leveraged Finance and/or Project Finance and/or Structure Credit transactions
- Experience working with SQL, MS Access, Python, VBA and coding experience
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets and excellent skills in credit analysis
- Good working knowledge of finance documentation
- Autonomous, self-starter, proactive & work across multiple time-zones
