General Accounting Responsibilities:

General Accounting Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the accounting team,
- Deliver accounts for multiple legal entities,
- Design and manage accounting processes,
- Reconcile and validate invoices, inventory and fixed assets,
- Manage the month-end close process, journal entries and reconciliations,
- Ensure accurate financial records and tax reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including tax filings and financial disclosures,
- Identify and implement process improvements,
- Use technology and automation to streamline accounting processes,
- Ensure proper and timely VAT and CIT returns.
- Key Control Design, Testing and Risk Assessment,
- Perform RCSA in line with Company Policy,
- Manage Risk within responsibilities,
- Deliver audit trial and documentation for Key Controls,
- Ensure Internal control process follow company policies,
- Manage inventory of Fix Assets and Intangible assets,
- Review and improve internal controls,
- Monitor and update policies and procedures,
- Ensure Annual attestation of policies and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in similar positions is mandatory,
- University degree (Economics, Finance, and Accounting); Certified Accountant
- Fluent English in speaking and writing at least B2+
- Good knowledge of Polish Accounting Regulation and Tax,
- Ability to interpret tax regulations in the areas of VAT, CIT, PIT,
- Ability to learn / understand processes quickly and adhere to them accurately,
- Accounting experience in a multi-gap environment,
- Advanced use of MS office Excel,
- Experience working in different ERPs and understanding the logic,
- Highly organized and efficient, proactive approach to work,
- Excellent analytical skills and learning abilities,
- Good people management skills; good leader ‒ able to balance the operational work and leading and developing the team,
- Flexible approach with a strong team spirit,
- Experience with managing relationship with Outsourcing part of accounting process would be a plus.
