Our Institutional Retirement division provides pension risk transfer (PRT) solutions for UK and US defined benefit (DB) schemes, and reinsurance solutions from our global hub in Bermuda. We work with companies, DB pension schemes and their advisors to help them secure and protect scheme members' retirement benefits.

Job Description
We're recruiting for aFinancial Risk Modelling Senior Manager to join us. We're offering acompetitive base salary, 12% car allowance and a strong benefits package. As well as the opportunity to lead on the delivery of financial risk metrics and the implementation, development and improvement of associated models.
You will also deliver balance sheet stresses and sensitivities, supporting analysis and commentary aligned with stakeholders' needs. What you'll be doing

Job Description
We're recruiting for aFinancial Risk Modelling Senior Manager to join us. We're offering acompetitive base salary, 12% car allowance and a strong benefits package. You will also deliver balance sheet stresses and sensitivities, supporting analysis and commentary aligned with stakeholders' needs. What you'll be doing
- Leading and managing the delivery of financial risk modelling, across a number of financial risk metrics including IFRS 17 sensitivities, Solvency II / Solvency UK sensitivities, ALM management information and MA portfolio tests.
- Running stress tests and what if" scenarios to review the effect this will have on our SCR
- Reviewing results and assessing the risks faced by the business
- Recommending and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and reduce exposure to serious events
- Working closely with the internal model team to develop and run stress tests
Who we're looking for:
- Qualified Actuary with experience in Life Insurance
- Good technical understanding of Solvency II and capital reporting
- Experienced in running SSTs
- Good capital modelling experience
- Strong understanding of SCR and the associated regulations
- Strong communication skills, and ideally experience of leading actuarial teams (this role does not have direct line reports, but includes leadership by coordination across various teams)
