Functie
We are looking for an experienced Business Controller to join the finance team. This is an evolving role that offers the opportunity to shape financial processes and provide strategic insights to drive business success. The Business Controller will work closely with the Managing Director and report directly to the Head of Business Control. You will be part of a team of five.

This role involves a combination of business control and financial analysis, with a strong focus on cash flow forecasting. You will be responsible for managing the financial performance of multiple business units, reporting to the board on key financial metrics and preparing annual budgets and forecasts. As a part of the Management Team you will have the opportunity to influence the company's future direction

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing financial data to provide actionable insights for various business units
• Managing and reporting on the financial performance of specific units
• Leading the annual budget preparation and conducting forecasts
• Preparing and presenting KPI reports and medium-term plans to the board
• Acting as the link between the accounting and business control teams
• Collaborating with the insurance department for claims management and risk assessments
• Managing cash flow forecasting, a key focus of this role
• Conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate financial risks

Profiel
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Financial Control and Business Control, with at least two years of experience in a similar role. Fluency in English is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This role offers the chance to take ownership of key financial processes and make a real impact within the business.

• Minimum of two years' experience in Business Control
• Strong knowledge of Financial Control processes
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving role
• Located in The Netherlands
