As an analyst for O&T Financial Control, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills to be able to contribute effectively amongst the various duties in this role:
  • Support the Finance team and business on all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including database management, controlling, analyzing and reporting on financial performance
  • Work with various departments/groups and Finance teams on tracking and understanding financials related to IT projects (including Operating Expenses, Capital Expenditure, Chargeouts)
  • Perform impact analysis by applying scenario tools to cost
  • Understand and explore ways for improvement of cost allocation
  • Provide support to costing review with Business Units and manage chargeout queries
  • Familiar with Tax in Asian Region and advise potential tax implication to IT services
  • Preparation of annual budget, financial forecasts and ad-hoc reporting
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments relating to financials


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Possess a good university degree in IT, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Working experience and knowledge in Management reporting, or work in analytical roles in the financial industry will be an advantage
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Detail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately and on a timely basis
  • Strong MS-Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, pivot table) and Data Management experience will be advantageous
  • An independent self-starter and a team player who is able to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
