Internal Audit (Assistant) Vice President, Ibank

Our client is one of the well-known European investment banks, looking for an (Assistant) Vice President to join their Asia Pacific, audit team. The team is sizeable and welcomes proactive/aspiring candidate with good knowledge of CIB. Open to Big 4 / risk & compliance candidates with fluency in English.

Job responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive audits across business lines, focusing on strategy, governance, organisation, profitability, front-to-back processes, compliance, HR, and internal controls
• Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of support functions, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation
• Design and implement tailored audit testing strategies to effectively identify and evaluate risks and operational weaknesses
• Actively participate in initiatives aimed at advancing the internal audit department's practices and methodologies
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure continuous improvement and compliance

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other relevant disciplines
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience in corporate / investment banks
• Experience in internal audit is a big plus, additional experience in risk/control/compliance function would be a bonus
• Proactive, independent professional with excellent oral & written skills
