Morgan McKinley is looking for an Assistant Accountant to work for a lovely company based in the Edenbridge, Kent area. The Accountant role is ideal for a graduate who is newly qualified or studying towards their CIMA / ACA. The Accountant will be part of the Finance team and working with the FD supporting everyday cost accounting, financial analysis, pricing, invoicing etc.

Location: Hybrid working, Edenbridge, Kent

Assistant Accountant duties:
  • Assist with monthly financial reviews and budgets
  • Financial analysis, support, insight and commentary
  • Manage product pricing / costings and cost analysis
  • Monitor, track and evaluate costs and identify areas for improvements
  • Support the Finance Director with any other duties and also the wider Finance team with invoice processing
  • Handle any invoice queries
  • Monitor and update the finance systems

Skills and experience:
  • Ideally be of a graduate calibre with some experience of working in an Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant / Cost Accounting support type role
  • CIMA / ACA qualified or studying towards
  • Excellent IT and communication skills both verbally and written
