This is a fantastic opportunity for a Tax Analyst to join a rapidly growing energy group and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy. The group is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline sustainable energy projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.
In this newly created role, you will report to the teams Tax Managers as an integral member of the overall Finance organisation managing the Tax function of the global offshore wind business.
You will be assisting the teams Tax Managers with the following:
Tax Calendar - management of workflow tool with tax obligations to ensure deadlines are up-to-date and assist the team with upcoming deliverables
Tax Reporting - preparation for internal reporting, quarterly reporting to parent company, as well as annual obligations such as Australian CFC reporting, Australia tax transparency, CBCR and HMRC requirements
Tax Compliance - preparation for direct, indirect, withholding taxes and any local tax obligations
Transfer Pricing - preparation of reconciliations of transfer pricing models, as well as inputs for local transfer pricing file preparation and country-by-country reporting
Tax governance support the Tax Managers to test tax controls and risks identified for the Senior Accounting Officer documentation and Tax control framework
You will have experience in tax compliance of a large, complex organisation in-house, in practice or within an accountancy firm. You will have good communication skills and relationship management skills. Key qualities the candidate will require includes attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines, project manage multiple workstreams, and streamline processes and procedures.
