The role requires managing the full UK payroll cycle in-house, with a focus on compliance, accuracy and timely reporting. Strong technical payroll knowledge and systems experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly UK payroll accurately and on time using ECP system
- Distribute payments to employees and tax authorities
- Handle all compliance and statutory reporting to HMRC, including:
- Monthly Full Payment Submissions
- P45 forms for leavers
- Year-end P60 forms
- P11D and P11Db forms for benefits and expenses
- Manage reporting to pension administrators, childcare voucher providers, etc.
- Calculate PAYE income tax and National Insurance contributions
- Calculate statutory payments like maternity pay
- Reconcile and prepare all year-end filings and reports
- Provide payroll support to HR, shares, tax and accounting teams as needed
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Respond to HMRC inquiries in a timely manner
- Enter payroll data into SuccessFactors EC and ECP systems
Key Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of UK payroll regulations and calculations
- Experience with ECP payroll system
- Understanding of PAYE, NIC and other statutory deductions
- Ability to calculate complex items like maternity pay
- Familiarity with HMRC reporting requirements (FPS, P45, P60, P11D etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills to liaise with other departments
- Problem-solving skills to investigate discrepancies
- Ability to meet strict deadlines for payroll processing and reporting
