Join a leading foreign corporate bank as part of our Manager of Funding and Liquidity Management the Group Finance Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to enhanced decision-making that drives optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. Our team is responsible for providing insights into the Group's performance through comprehensive financial, regulatory, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily funding positions and currency gaps for the Commercial book by planning and executing intragroup funding and FX swaps, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Minimize excess funds through close monitoring of funding flows and forecasts in collaboration with Business Units.
  • Prepare regular management reports, performing detailed data analysis to highlight key findings and explain underlying business drivers.
  • Review and update the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) mechanism and parameters to ensure that the liquidity and regulatory costs of the bank are accurately reflected in internal pricing.
  • Develop strategies to incentivize Business Units to achieve targeted balance sheet profiles by balancing funding costs with asset competitiveness.
  • Oversee and assess the Branch's structural interest rate and liquidity profile to ensure compliance with risk limits and ALCO directives, recommending and implementing suitable hedging instruments as necessary.
  • Conduct regular balance sheet reviews while maintaining close communication with stakeholders to understand business needs, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance the funding profile (e.g., NSFR/LCR improvement) and promote balance sheet efficiency (e.g., NIM, RoRWA).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to provide insights and recommendations that support financial performance and risk management.
  • Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes that may impact funding and liquidity strategies.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; a master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA, FRM) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, funding, or finance within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of liquidity management, funding strategies, and foreign exchange operations.
  • Exposures to financial market products - loans, deposits, CDs, MTNs, FX and interest rate swaps
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform in-depth data analysis and present findings clearly.
  • Proven experience in managing Fund Transfer Pricing mechanisms and understanding regulatory implications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as treasury management systems.
