Centralised Management Projects Business Analyst - Director

The Centralised Management project team is responsible for managing a considerable percentage of Finance's technology spend, helping to deliver across a portfolio of projects including, Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation. The team is also front and centre of the technology architecture discussions. The team supports EU, Global and local regulatory driven initiatives across Financial and Capital Reporting including Basel 3, Capital Calculators, FED, SEC, PRA & EBA reporting initiatives. The successful applicant will report to the Director within the team.
This resource specification is for a business analyst with approximately 4-6 years of experience with strong analytical and communication skills to work within the Global Finance COO, which is responsible for the end to end delivery of financial and regulatory programs.

What will you be doing?
The candidate will be working within the Finance COO team on improving the quality, timeliness, and centralisation of data within the Finance organisation to facilitate financial and regulatory reporting. The candidate needs to be able to balance work across Finance and Technology teams in a very dynamic, rapidly evolving, high pressure, high visibility project setting environment. They will partner with Technology, Operations, and other teams within Finance during the following stages of the Agile project life cycle:
1. Planning
2. Development
3. Testing
4. Deployment
Additional responsibilities:
• Documentation of the current state processes, business requirements including the target state processes
• Performing detailed data analysis and communicate finding to cross-functional teams
• Agile tracking and management leveraging JIRA and RALLY
• Participate in execution of the testing phase with all stakeholders (testing approach, test plan, cases, testing metrics)
• Produce and analyse project metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders
• Plan and participate in meetings with the stakeholders raising appropriate status, risks, and issues

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with various levels throughout the organisation across functions and business units
• Strong organisation and process skills; attention to detail
• Self-starter; good time management; team player
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills are required to perform detailed data quality analysis, root cause issue analysis, and data reconciliations
• Exposure to designing processes and incorporating strategic thinking
• Relevant experiences as Business Analyst
• Exposure to financial products such as Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives is a plus
• Experience with data quality management, financial services or capital markets data is a plus
• Experience with regulatory reporting is a plus
Desirable skills:
• MS Office skills
• Knowledge of Business Process Mapping tools like Visio
• Experience with General Ledger query/ reporting tools (SAP ECC, SAP BPC) a plus
• Exposure to Regulatory Reporting Tools like AxiomSL is a plus
• Experience with Testing & Quality Management systems is a plus (ALM, RALLY, JIRA)
• Experience with Alteryx a plus
