About Our Client
Our client, active within the financial services sector, is currently looking for a Freelance Expert Accountant - Tax to join their team in Brussels.

Job Description

• Handling the full bookkeeping of client files using the accounting system
• Preparing year-end entries after completing all necessary reconciliations for VAT, payroll, and bank balances
• Coordinating and facilitating the year-end audit process with external auditors
• Preparing and submitting periodic VAT returns
• Acting as the primary contact with tax authorities during audits
• Calculating corporate income tax provisions, preparing, and filing the CIT returns
• Preparing and submitting applicable withholding tax declarations

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Economics or Accountancy
• ITTA membership is a plus
• Knowledge in Belgium GAAP, VAT and CIT
• Languages : French or Dutch - English is an advantage
