Responsibilities

Key person in financial control.
Review the daily finance operation and reporting of General Insurance, ensure the daily operation is running smoothly.
Review the payment and receipt journals and month end closing.
Prepare premium / claims / reinsurance data for actuarial team, business, auditor, regulatory filing.
Handle data and reports reconciliation.
Involve in various projects such as IFRS 17 implementation and HKRBC.
Handle investment projects.
Prepare supporting documents, financial statements and other statutory filings for external auditors and regulator.
Involve in business initiatives, systems enhancements and finance projects.
Carry out ad hoc and other duties assigned from time to time.
Report to CEO.

Requirements

Degree holder in Accounting and professional accountancy qualification.
5 years' general insurance experience in financial accounting field with audit experience.
General Insurance business experience is must.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
Responsible, self-motivated and pro-active.
Able to work under pressure and able to solve problem independently.
Detail-minded with strong sense of responsibilities, good working attitude.
Able to work with and analyze large amount of data.
Proficient in Microsoft office and Chinese word processing
