About the team

Our Finance team uses their eye for detail and expertise to take us to the next level. As we move at pace, they keep us on track for reaching our shared goals.

We are looking for a team leader to join our Settlements Payment gateway team.

What you'll own

• Responsible for the settlements of all Worldpay WPG bank accounts.
• Supervision of exception processes including escalations, stakeholder relationships and ad-hoc project work.
• Management of a team of Controllers.
• SME and Key contact for the business regarding specialist technical knowledge

• To manage queries and escalations for the team.
• Produce reporting and MI to analyse and drive team performance
• Work on projects and identify process improvement opportunities
• Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure all SLA's are adhered to, and provide escalation to the Team Manager on a regular basis.
• Continually look for ways of improving efficiencies, providing potential solutions and follow through to implementation.
• Coach the team on any identified training gaps and errors made throughout the month.
• Demonstrate an overall understanding of Operational Finance across all teams as well as working collaboratively with other team leads.

What you bring

• Demonstrable experience of working within Reconciliations/Operational Finance
• Must be confident communicating at all levels e.g. Team meetings, manager comms, head of department escalations.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Qualification or working towards AAT, Accounting or Finance Degree would be an advantage.
