About the team

We are looking for a team leader to join our Settlements Payment gateway team.
What you'll own
- Responsible for the settlements of all Worldpay WPG bank accounts.
- Supervision of exception processes including escalations, stakeholder relationships and ad-hoc project work.
- Management of a team of Controllers.
- SME and Key contact for the business regarding specialist technical knowledge
- To manage queries and escalations for the team.
- Produce reporting and MI to analyse and drive team performance
- Work on projects and identify process improvement opportunities
- Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure all SLA's are adhered to, and provide escalation to the Team Manager on a regular basis.
- Continually look for ways of improving efficiencies, providing potential solutions and follow through to implementation.
- Coach the team on any identified training gaps and errors made throughout the month.
- Demonstrate an overall understanding of Operational Finance across all teams as well as working collaboratively with other team leads.

What you bring
- Demonstrable experience of working within Reconciliations/Operational Finance
- Must be confident communicating at all levels e.g. Team meetings, manager comms, head of department escalations.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Qualification or working towards AAT, Accounting or Finance Degree would be an advantage.
