Associate, Portfolio Management, Private Equity (Open for Big 4 TS Candidates)

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the setup of new funds and obtaining necessary licenses, as well as managing the financial operations of the fund, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting investment activities, etc.

Fund Setup and Licensing:

• Assist in the establishment of new funds, including preparation of fund documentation and coordination with legal and compliance teams.
• Manage the licensing process for new funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of applications to relevant authorities.

Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting:

• Execute private equity fund accounting and maintain accurate records of investment transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, investor reports, and other fund-related documentation.

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily operational functions related to investment funds, including processing fund-related activities and managing operational risks.
• Liaise with fund administrators to ensure smooth processing of transactions and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Investment Support:

• Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis and due diligence.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing necessary documentation and presentations for potential investors.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including investors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Address client inquiries related to fund operations, sales, and legal documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in FP/A, Financial Analysis, Transaction Services / M&A / Deals Advisory in asset management / private equity / family office / Consulting firms.
• Big 4 experience is HIGHLY REGARDED, Transaction Services / M&A / Deals Advisory experience is a PLUS.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is a MUST due to daily communication with colleagues based in PRC mainland.
