Principal responsibilities
- Support Card Business on business growth and to oversee the risks and control environment to ensure business promotions and processes are operated with consideration under of risk controls and are in compliance with regulatory requirements and group guidelines
- Lead and provide expertise to all businesses and functions unit in Card Business on all aspects of operational risks to ensure effective execution of the Bank's policies and standards
- Act as the focal point of contact with different businesses and functions for oversight of risk issues and implementation of risk governance
- Oversee to ensure that the sales management; customer service and sales quality checking are in place so as to comply with all compliance related procedure
- Oversee the production of risk and control management reports and articulate the findings and recommendations to relevant senior audiences
- University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of banking experience, with good knowledge of the changing regulatory environment especially in financial services sector
- Sound knowledge of retail banking/ card business, including products, services, systems and processes
- Strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills and able to critically evaluate information gather from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
- Strong leadership, management and coaching skills
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
