The IT Governance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization's compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This key position will focus on facilitating and coordinating internal and external audits, overseeing regulatory inspections, and conducting regular assurance checks to maintain the highest standards of IT governance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate and Coordinate Audits: Manage and oversee the entire audit lifecycle as 1.5 line of defence, coordinate, and review audit submissions, as well as follow-up of internal and external audits. Ensure that all audit activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Regulatory Inspections: Coordinate submission of required information and artefacts for regulatory inspections.
  • Remediation of Audit Findings and Self-Identified Gaps: Ensure all audit findings / observations as well as self-identified gaps are registered in Risk Register, track and monitor these findings and gaps to ensure timely and quality closure.
  • Regular Assurance Checks: Perform routine assurance checks to assess IT governance practices, identify areas of improvement, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all audit and inspection activities. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential IT governance risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure effective risk management practices are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of IT governance policies and procedures. Ensure that all policies are in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of IT governance issues and promote best practices within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT governance, audit coordination, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
