Position Overview
In this position, the Financial Consultant/Investment Manager would work with high-net-worth individuals and families, developing investment management strategies and coordinating with clients. The candidate will also commit a significant allocation of their time to business development activities in order to build a base of new clients.
Job Duties
- Manage, retain and grow business relationships with existing clients.
- Communicate current market strategy and portfolio updates to clients.
- Act as liaison between clients and portfolio managers.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified and prospective clients.
- Lead development and implementation of sales strategy, including identification and targeting new client opportunities.
- Spearhead new business development initiatives.
- Actively manage relationships with prospects to achieve higher conversion rates.
- Responsible for client relationship management.
- Work with financial intermediaries and spheres of influence to develop a network of referrals.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of investment industry or financial services experience.
- Experience managing 25-50 million in AUM.
- High level of expertise in sales, networking, and relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills--verbal, written, and group presentation.
- Efficient and excellent time management skills.
- Articulate and charismatic, interacts well with people at all levels.
- Highly professional work ethic.
- CFP a plus.
