This role sits in the Group Procurement, Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, which provides operational and tactical support across the team driving defined analytics and support processes.

Managing contingent workforce is one of the key processes handled by the team including resolving incoming queries and requests from partners and functions across the business, as well as with other Procurement team members. This role will work as a central utility to handle the contingent workforce in Procurement perspective. Candidates will perform subjective evidence-based assessments of 3rd party consultants and whether they have onboarded according to Procurement guidelines.

Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Support the team with the delivery of the function's objectives.
  • Collaborate with COE Specialists, Hiring Managers, Procurement Managers to undertake contingent worker assessment from Procurement perspective in Fieldglass application.
  • Perform review of contingent workers against internal standards, including but not limited to:
    • Support hiring managers to Onboard/Offboard contingent workers
    • Work with internal team members to resolve any discrepancies on the documentation
    • Providing reports/analytics on the contingent worker database
    • Ensure risks and issues identified during the review process are raised with the relevant parties
  • Everyday execution of Procurement Operations activities in line with agreed SLAs, quality, and timeliness measures.
  • Maintain and manage the Documentation Library (policies and procedures) and implement processes to supervise and control accurate compliance to agreed governance.
  • Pro-actively bring forward process improvements to enhance the process efficiency.
Essential experience and skills required:
  • Proven experience (approximately 8-12 years) in procurement process management, preferably in Fieldglass, Oracle and SAP Tools.
  • Ability to work for UK calendar & shift.
  • Understanding of the Procure-to-Pay cycle, Contingent Workforce Management, the role of Sourcing, Category Management and third-party risks.
  • Ability to cut through complexity, be pragmatic and get things done.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Self-driven and positive attitude with ability and willingness to take ownership of tasks, processes, and operations with limited direction.
  • Cooperative style and great teammate.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and mange conflicting priorities.
  • Flexible and adaptive in approach to projects and problem solving.
  • Exceptionally delivery focussed, with a proven track record of being able to manage a list of parallel and/or conflicting priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills: able to quickly foster positive relationships' day to day which lead to the right results.
Technical Skillsets:
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills (especially, PowerApps, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, etc)
  • Procurement application experience in Source to Fieldglass, Oracle, Contract management, DocuSign, and any other related platforms.
Desirable:
  • Experience in procurement processes within regulated Financial Services Environment, Information Services Companies, FinTech firms, or global organizations will be preferred.
