What is the opportunity?

Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services. Founded in 1864, they are the 10th largest bank worldwide and the 5th in North America, as measured by market capitalization. Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones employing a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of their global operations, improve service quality via their 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standardised processes globally.

You will be supporting APAC business, working on shift hours of 9am-6pm.

What will you do?
  • Responsible for timely and accurate end to end processing Client Static update accordingly to defined SLAs.
  • Receives, investigates, and responds to all customer inquiries and complaints regarding banking products and services; processes basic bank service transactions.
  • With extensive knowledge of the job and policies/practices, performs a wide range of advanced administrative/operational assignments.
  • Assists clients with client transaction fulfillment.
  • Responds to client inquiries regarding bank products and services via phone or emails; obtains and analyzes the validity of a customer's requests/complaints.
  • Resolves complaints from clients pertaining to banking services and provides follow-up calls when necessary.
  • Keeps records of all customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, actions taken, etc., as well as banking service transactions performed.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of working experiences, preferably within a Private Bank or Wealth
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Committed and responsible with an attitude to ensure accuracy and completeness

Nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with Avaloq system, experience with managing client data
