Job Description

Role Summary:

Ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping, Balance sheet accounts reconciliation, Journal entry, Journal entry upload. IFRS compliance, and other regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the timely and accurate recording of all GL transactions in the ERP system.
  • Conduct weekly reconciliation of bank accounts to identify and address discrepancies. And Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities on time.
  • Make sure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled.
  • Review period-end journal entries and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Fixed assets register maintained.
  • Prepaid expenses
  • Assist in the preparation of accrual files.
  • Calculate and prepare tax returns, including VAT and income tax, and Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • SOCPA, and CMA, certificates are preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in various rules.

Required Skills:
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills in both English & Arabic.
