The Finance Reporting Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

The Team is responsible for financial reporting for the purpose of Citi consolidated supervision including management reporting. Activities consider analysis of correctness US GAAP reports, applying changes as instructed by head office in US and regions. There is close cooperation within Finance and other Bank Handlowy units (business, operations and technology) as well as units across the world and also regional/global offices in Citi Finance. Activities included initiation and participation in projects impacting Citi reporting and local systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Month end close process in relation to consolidated statements under US GAAP and IFRS - review of balances, posting adjustments, verification and reconciliations
  • Responsibility over data provided to other regulatory reporting teams including retrieval from systems and data warehouses
  • Elimination of manual adjustments via system set ups, improvements, identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed
  • Data quality processes to ensure proper reporting
  • Work closely with all areas of the Finance department, liaising with the other Global Function, Business, Operations and Technology teams

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of previous experience required in financial reporting area
  • Knwoledge of financial products and instruments
  • Skills in operating in databases and office applications
  • University degree in Economics is an advantage but not a must and we are open to other majors
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Control and risk managing
  • Welcome programming and sql skills as well as designing of reports
  • English and Polish, allowing free verbal and written communication
