SimCorp provides a broad range of services and is now expanding the team responsible for our cloud-based Regulatory Reporting Platform. As part of our core team, we are looking for a Senior Business Consultant with solid investment management software expertise to keep our platform up to date and compliant with the latest regulations.
Within the Regulatory Center of Excellence, you will work with experienced and supportive colleagues who are experts in providing solutions and services to SimCorp market units around the world. This unique combination of market experience in regulations and expertise in SimCorp Dimension fosters an environment of quick learning and knowledge sharing, which ensures to keep SimCorp at the forefront of the regulatory landscape.
By working with our Regulatory Reporting Platform, and you will ensure to materialize SimCorp's growth potential across new and existing customers across the world. The Platform provides complete end-to-end monitoring of Transaction Reporting to comply with EMIR, MIFIR, and SFTR regimes.

What you will be responsible for:
Your responsibilities:
- Implementation and maintenance of configuration solutions based on SimCorp Dimension for financial institutions and Asset Managers across the globe.
- Support maintenance and enhancement of SimCorp's Regulatory Reporting Platform in close collaboration with its Manager.
What we value:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance or other relevant degree
- You have experience in or knowledge of EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) or its equivalents in Asia eg. MAS, HKMA or ASIC in Australia.
- You have experience and knowledge of MiFIR and SFTR regulations.
- You are interested in analysis, design and implementation of regulatory requirements in a software system.
- You have experience in Investment management software (SimCorp Dimension or similar is highly desirable)
- Know well derivatives, in particular OTC and ETD.
- You can read, understand, and interpret regulatory texts (legal ordinances, law texts, guidelines, implementing technical standards...) or are willing to build up and incorporate these qualifications.
- You have an interest and basic knowledge in cloud technologies like scripting languages, XML and APIs.
- You have 2+ years of work experience in a consultancy role/firm or IT department of a financial firm.
- You are service-oriented.
- You have the capability to bridge the gap between business requirements and the technical implementation.
- You have experience working in a globally distributed organization.
- You can act proactively within your frequent customer interactions.
- You act professionally and you have great communication and presentation skills.
- You enjoy coaching and transferring your knowledge proactively.
- You are fluent in English.
Additionally, these skills are advantageous:
- CFA level 1-3
- SQL, XML, Excel (expert level)
- Fluency in German is a benefit
