Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview:
The Operations Analyst will work in the Global Margin department and is responsible for assisting in the prompt payment of transactions and the investigation of any issues that may arise

This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.

- Verify information to ensure the accuracy of transactions.
- Identify discrepancies within transactions and work with the appropriate department to form a solution.
- Interpret data and apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis.
- Contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes and workflows.
- Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports.
- Liaise with other teams and stakeholders to accomplish objectives of the wider team/working group.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a high pressured environment
- Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise
- Strong risk management and control mindset
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, results orientated.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytic mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office.
