Assistant Accountant Your new company
This established, national company is a leader in its field with a reputation for quality and reliability and the ability to provide tailored solutions to clients.
Your new role
You will be central to the Finance team, supporting the senior management team and working closely with the AP and AR officers. You will be responsible for payroll, cash flow forecasting, month-end processing, GL reconciliation, maintaining the balance sheet, assisting with year-end accounts and proactively assisting with reporting duties.
What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit someone who has a few years' experience working in a senior finance officer position or assistant accountant role. You will need to be able to manage your tasks efficiently and be proactive in problem-solving. There is currently support in the transactional tasks, and you will be working as part of a collaborative team. You will also be able to manage the payroll for up to 200 staff and provide support to internal stakeholders.
What you'll get in return
This is a great, long-term opportunity for an experienced accounts professional, and you will have the opportunity for further learning and development. Based in Brisbane's outer northern suburbs with parking on site, you will be able to avoid the long commute to the CBD and improve your work-life balance.
